In Local News: Koopa Invasion in Minnesota Declining

I bet it’s boring living in the middle of nowhere Duluth, Minnesota. For some reason, the citizens of this place spend their free time counting birds. Among many indigenous species, like the Bald Eagle and the Red-Tailed Hawk, are the turtle-like Koopius Troopio or “Koopa Troopa”.

According to
this chart, over 90 of these dangerous creatures were spotted in the last week in Duluth. If the two numbers are any indication, it seems as though the numbers of these are declining. Finally these poor people will be able to do something outside other than counting birds or kicking shells.

I don’t have the slightest idea if the chart is a clever Photoshop job, but the picture above is pretty convincing. I tried contacting the King of Duluth, but he has no comment as to why the numbers are decreasing for the Koopas. Are they really receding in the region? Has Bowser gained a foothold? Unfortunately, only time will tell.
