E3 09: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Details

Kojima made his appearance at Sony’s E3 press conference to announce Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP calling it a “true sequel” and not a spin-ff or side story like the new Metal Gear Solid: Rising. Kojima also said that he will be writing the script to the game himself so that Metal Gear fans will get the most out of this experience.

Onto some of the story’s details; Peace Walker will be taking place in the 1970’s, 10 years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3. You will be playing as Big Boss in Costa Rica divulging the back story of Outer Heaven's creation. The game is set to hit shelves in 2010. See the trailer shown at E3, provided by G4, below.
