MGS4, MGO To Get Trophies?

Ever since the PlayStation 3’s trophy system was announced last year, fans of the Metal Gear Solid series have been asking and asking if Metal Gear Solid 4 will be receiving trophy support? A recent post made by Brandon Laurino, Konami’s Online Director, announcing the release of MGO’s SCENE expansion had many comments asking about a patch to include trophy support for the game. Here is what Brandon has to say in reply:

On the subject of MGS4/MGO trophies and Konami ID - we hear you. We have been circulating these issues internally, and we will report back as soon as we are able.

He also goes on to talk about cheaters in MGO and asking your help to make it a better and more fair game for everyone. Maybe in the not so distant future we will see more on this whole MGS4 trophy support business.
