Metal Gear Online Scene Expansion Coming In March

Famitsu has revealed an all new Metal Gear Online expansion to us by the title of “Scene Expansion.” This DLC pack will continue to bring Metal Gear Solid 4 character’s into the online experience by giving us Raiden and Vamp both as playable characters. In addition to being able to play as those new characters, this expansion will also bring us three new maps to battle it out on: "Hazard House" (a countryside manor), "Outer Outlet" (a shopping arcade) and "Revaged Riverfront" (a riverside town).


Konami also sent out a press release stating the the Metal Gear Online Scene expansion will be available in North America by March. For those who pre-order the expansion from Konami’s Shop will receive a cardboard box (cardboard man) headgear. You can check out some map details and view our gallery after the break if you wish.



  • Outer Outlet - An Industrial Wasteland, made up of buildings and underground/above ground areas. Suitable for medium to long range attacks.
  • Hazard House - An enormous three story mansion. Suitable for close to medium range combat.
  • Ravaged Riverfront - Clock Tower, made up of underground, above ground, and under water areas. Suitable for medium to long range combat.
