Trophies Mandatory Starting January 2009

According to Videogamer.com, Sony will be making trophy support mandatory start in January of next year.

Today a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe spokesperson confirmed that this information is accurate, stating: "Yes from Jan 09 all games must have trophies."

This is such great news! No more dealing with all of those trophy patches that you have to download and install.
