Gran Turismo Prologue Gets A Tune Up
Today, an update added some new cars and a fw gameplay improvements for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. The update is free and the cars are probably fast. Maybe.
The first of the new cars is the GT by Citroen. Taku Imasaki, the SCEA producer, explained that the car is actually a ruselt of collaboration between Citroen and Polyphony Digital, the developer of GT. Apparently, the car is real and the developers helped to make it. The other two cars included are the Ferrari California and Lotus Evora. They’re nice, but not designed by videogame guys.
As for the gameplay mods, the polyphony crew have changed some speed penalties, increased race earnings, and fixed the response time of the Sixaxis controllers. There has also been some volume balancing. This all seems like a pretty sweet deal for me, but it leaves me with one question: at this rate, what new and exciting features are they going to include in Gran Turismo 5?
